Stroid – A retro-synth space shooter for iPhone

Background Sheet

Stroid is a retro-synth space shooter about destroying hazards from the outer orbits of increasingly alien planets. Players navigate thirty exospheres, attempting to clear each of dangers, whilst avoiding satellites and collecting ore for upgrades and power ups. I like to say that it isn’t a frenetic space shooter, but something that could be called gentle arcade, as each wave of challenge approaches slowly but surely, requiring you to think with a both a little strategy and quick reactions.

You can find Stroid on the App Store here.

And here’s the trailer:

If you want to ask me any questions about the game, fire away. In the mean time I’ll be getting on with project number two!
